Summertime on the Northern Beaches
Ahhh sweet summer... a time when us Northern Beaches locals enjoy a pleasant change of weekend drinking rituals. A time when the OTB's (friends from Over The Bridge) quit complaining about coming ALL THE WAY over to drink with us and for a short time they realise what a beautiful haven we're in for a few cheeky beers in the afternoon sun. These bars below are a few of the reasons I could never bear leaving God's Own Country... so Step Away From The Train Line and come join us for a bevvy or two.

Undoubtedly the best thing that has happened to Manly in a long time. Great relaxed vibe, a nice selection of pub grub and plenty of eye candy to boot. If they didn't close the doors at midnight the Steyne would probably go out of business.

A fabulous spot for a mid-week drink or a lazy Sunday beer if you're not up for the crowds of Wharf Bar. This spot is one of the last Manly bars still flying under the radar.

An institution on the Northern Beaches and a great spot for all those special occasions in Summmer - Chrissy Eve, New Year's Eve and Aussstraaaaya Day of course. Bring lots of money for a cab or an unsuspecting designated driver.
