Friday Night Drinks
As alcohol is a well known and trusted social lubricant, Friday night drinking sessions represent a wonderful opportunity to get to know your colleagues on err... a more personal level.
You can pleasantly unwind by a) collectively complaining about strenuous workloads b) gossiping about hot new colleagues and their sexual orientation / relationship status / potential for an inter-office affair, or c) discussing why you all deserve ginormous payrises.
One rule for Friday night drinks: try not to go overboard on the beverages, at least until your boss is out of sight anyway.
Here are a few favourite spots for Friday night tippling.

Located above several flights of old bluestone steps (the same steps you'll be cursing on your drunken way out), Cookie welcomes the weary worker with the promise of cold beer served in the traditional beer-hall way.
