Relax into a plush cushion and leather lounge at this funky Sunshine Coast lounge bar and soak up the beachside vibe. Located in a prime spot on the Esplanade, you can wind up a stroll along the beach then unwind at Zink Bar. Though it is also a restaurant, you can swing by simply to enjoy the fine selection of cocktails, wine and beer and to take in the ocean views. With wooden floorboards, dark wooden tables and just a few splashes of colours, Zink has a relaxed fairly minimalist setting.
If you're not quite ready to sink into a couch or a cushioned daybed, you can prop yourself up on a stool at the rather funky curved bar. Zink also has a regular entertainment program, with salsa dancing classes on Wednesday nights if you want to hot up again after an ocean swim; and on Friday and Saturday nights DJs up the tempo at this normally relaxed bar with a mix of funk, soul and dancy pop tunes. Sunday afternoons are tailored more to recovery and relaxation, with live jazz music and wine and cheese platters on offer.
