With the Cable Beach coastline just metres from the bar, this easygoing venue was made for sunset cocktails. There's a good range of beers on tap and a lip-smacking restaurant.
My husband and I visited Zanders a few nights ago and when we arrived, there was no one at the front to greet us and had to wait until someone saw us to show us to a table. We ordered a drink, but then it took 40 minutes before anyone came to take our order. When the food did arrive, the chicken in the pasta dish I had ordered was dry. This restaurant seems to have no system in place i.e they don't take bookings for tables under 10 so patrons just turn up; what I don't understand is how can a restaurant plan their staff/food when they don't take bookings??? We would not go there again as they were expensive as well.
