Nice Looking Bar - Pity about all the sucky rules
Went to a friends birthday recently which they hosted in the 'VIP' area at Wolfe Lane. I like the fact that its off the beaten track a bit, you have to trek down a dodgy alley to get there, but once inside its worth it, the bar itself is gorgeous. Headed upstairs to the vip area that overlooks the main bar, but thats where the fun stops. Once we were up there, we were continously harrassed by the Manager to sit down, people were sitting on the floor and laps of other people because - get this - your NOT ALLOWED to stand. Totally ridiculous considering your supposedly VIP, but you dont feel very important when your there, you feel like your in 3rd grade being told off by your teacher. When your at a bar, you dont wanna sit, it wasnt a formal dinner, you want to mix and mingle. Such a shame because this place could've had potential. So if you do wanna mix and mingle when you head out on a Saturday night, give this one a miss.
