With the arrival of this hip joint in Surry Hills, locals are invited to come down and test out their wine knowledge.
Residents of the uber trendy 2011 locale (aka Elizabeth Bay) think nothing of popping over to the Gazebo Wine Garden for an amiable quaffer and perhaps a nibble on something equally as agreeable. And now with the arrival of The Winery by Gazebo in Surry Hills, trendy Hills locals are also invited to join the in-crowds who flock to this smooth joint and test their wine knowledge with a selection of bubbles, reds, whites and roses.
As with its big sister, the Surry Hills Winery by Gazebo also offers up a sumptuous menu of gastronomic delights, designed to perfectly match the libations on offer. Revellers are invited to nibble on offerings such as chicken liver pate with a South Australian port glaze and accompanied by sourdough toast. There's also a menu of main and dessert options for those wanting a more substantial meal with their chosen poison. And to add a wee bit of extra excitement, diners can also muse over some briny mussel options if they so desire, which include an offering served in a pancetta, forest mushroom and white wine broth.
