Catch a burlesque show here then slip into a booth that feels like a train carriage. It's ultra private and designed with canoodling and boozing in mind.
Curtin House has become a hub for literature, film and drinks, with the Toff in Town being the latest and classiest drink spot to join its stable.
Located on the second level, The Toff offers two distinctly different hang-outs as soon as you push through its heavy black wooden doors. Arriving at the reception area, you can either turn right to The Stage, or a left into The Carriage.
The Stage is The Toff's performance space and it hosts live acts every night, including burlesque, cabaret, music, dance and comedy shows. Shuffle over to The Carriage and grab a seat in one of the booths set out in train carriage style. These unique spaces have sliding doors that can be closed, should you wish to exchange top-secret documents or just woo a love interest with a little more privacy. Use a call service button to summon a waiter and order up French wine or perhaps some German tap beer. If you're feeling more adventurous, then try the Zen green tea spirit mixed with a dash of tonic. The Toff also boasts a cocktail list which features both new creations and classics.
Small meals and snacks are available, with the menu changing at certain times in tune with the dining car hours.
