This award-winning hotel features a two-storey, 14-bay indoor golf-driving range and a rooftop putting green. There are more than 70 taps in Mulligan's Bar, including 54 for tap wines.
You expect your local pub to have a good crowd to rub shoulders with, plus some frothy beer at the ready and hopefully some stomach-lining burgers and chips to boot. But golf facilities? Say what? The Tap Inn is stepping outside the box on this front.
This is the only pub in Australia where you can practise your swing and then have an in-house beer break. The Tap Inn has a fully automated driving range, as well as a golfing simulator room and an 18-hole putting green. Seriously. Check the events schedule and tee up your visit to coincide with golfing happy hour or perhaps some free tuition events.
Golfing aside, the Tap Inn is also home to Mulligan's Bar and the Sand Bunker Beer Garden (with its huge seven-tonne palm tree). Behind the bar, you'll find Asahi, Pure Blonde, Coopers and Stella Artois on tap. There are also 54 other taps dedicated to wine, which is quite unusual.
The food menu features 54 sharing plates, including options such as blue swimmer crab cakes, oysters, sushi, deep-fried cheese ravioli, beef kebabs and Turkish pizza.
