Drawing inspiration from popular after-dark clubs in capital cities around the world, the designers behind Melbourne's Botanical Hotel and The Establishment in Sydney have collaborated with Melbourne's award-winning BURO architects to create the striking Rolling Rock nightclub in Noosa. After a full refurbishment and opening its doors in early November 2004, this club has seduced royal heartthrob Prince William, veteran rockers U2 and actor Billy Zane.
The space is innovative, and divided to keep the pandemonium of the dance floor away from the laid-back lounge. The decor is super cool - luxuriously upholstered couches, intricate chandeliers, a multitude of mirror balls and an array of installations. A no smoking policy is obeyed within the club, although those who are desperate can slip out to a comfortable outdoor area. A great range of wine and beer is available and a quality cocktail menu also features.
