Fancy some salsa? Hankering for Texas hold 'em? Challenge this corner pub to a duel if it doesn't dole out the entertainment you desire.
The Grosvenor Hotel could be described as the Renaissance man of corner pubs. With an intimate lounge area, restaurant, sports room, live music nights, salsa classes, DJs and poker comps it caters for the desires of just about every punter. This self-confessed 'jewel of St Kilda' lives up to its claims with a relaxed, stylish and sophisticated atmosphere in which locals can catch up over a game of happy hour pool or enjoy a chilled beer. The setting is largely minimalist, though there are a few fancy lights in one corner and a big plasma screen in the sports room.
Every evening is different here, and every quiet afternoon drink could turn into a big night. You can kick back to some live grooves on Sunday arvos or enjoy or one of the delicious cocktails from the extensive cocktail menu, such as the Apple Crumble (cinnamon-infused vodka shaken with apple schnapps, lime juice, cloudy apple juice and fresh apple slices, served in rock glass rimmed with Dutch cinnamon sugar). Further mixing things up, the Grosvenor serves up a parma night in addition to a steak night.
