Top Quality
My wife and I dropped in to the Cornerstone Ale House last Friday night in the hope that we may be able to get a meal. We were extremely lucky that the restaurant was not full, which was surprising given that it was a Friday.

The first thing that struck us was the decor of the bar area. It wasn't your normal bar. It was extremely comfortable and modern with lounges and areas for people to mingle or be alone. The mood lighting was excellent and it wasn't too noisy.

The restaurant was well laid out, had a very good feel about it and was not too big or open like some other hotel restaurants that we had eaten in.

The service was very efficient and the young lass that met us at the entrance quickly found a table near a window for us and explained how the restaurant worked. It requires a driver's licence from one of the people at the table and it is returned once the bill has been paid at the end of the night. Quite a unique system and one that I was happy to go along with.

The waiter that served us was very professional and new a lot about the menu including the beverage side. My wife and I ordered the Seafood Platter for Two and at just under $65.00 was excellent value. After the meal I ordered an affogato coffee and my wife a tea and I was very surprised at the quality of the coffee and ice cream, it was way above expectations. All in all it was an extremely enjoyable night out and we will be going back on a regular basis. Well done to the Management and staff.
