This bright and friendly restaurant and bar spills out onto the pavement of Crown Street, making the most of the strip's vibrant and eclectic scene.
Inside, the decor is light and fresh with plenty of timber, neutral tones and such funky touches as a cute tree mural on the back wall. There are plenty of tables, but the space also features a wide bar where people can sip vino and snack on tapas while admiring the huge selection of liquor. The Bentley has a distended wine list of more than 200 bottles and this place is also home to award-winning sommelier Nick Hildebrandt.
Ex-Moog chef Brent Savage has created a modern European menu with French and Spanish influences. His menu includes a warm shellfish salad - the flavours of the seafood complemented by the sharp tang of pickled vegetables and an eschalot dressing. Such sophisticated fare can be topped off by a comforting dessert like a chocolate and honeycomb ice cream cone with warm banana milk.
