Don't be fooled by the understated exterior - inside TempleBar is a saucy and sparkling boutique bar/restaurant that will do its leggy best to keep you entertained. Known for its 'dinner and show' combos - especially drag shows - you can slip in and pull up a chair at the bar, making your choice from a range of shooters, wines, beers and spirits. Perhaps go for a Jagerbomb or a cocktail - either of which you may need to lift your energy levels in these showy surrounds.
Drag comes to Collingwood on Wednesday nights, with the 'Spag 'n Drag' special - in which the queens perform on stage under a spotlight that is every bit as blazing as the colours of the bar and sequins on their dresses. If you're getting a bit over-excited inside, what with all the bling and all - you can always step outside for some fresh air and an alfresco bevvy. Open till late, TempleBar is a great theatrical venue for a special celebration, a function, or just drink and a laugh. It also serves up substantial meals to soak up some of the booze and glam.
