Situated on a city rooftop, this chic salon-styled cocktail/wine bar is in a league of its own. With light meals, boutique beers, wines and cigars on offer, it is a cut above the rest.
Despite it's gorgeous location and view of parliament house, the service at Siglo can be atrocious. Four of us went there at about 5.15pm, on the way in we were told if there were more than six of us overall we would need to notify the bar person. No welcome, just a fixation on numbers. We took a seat upstairs and an officious young girl told us we could not move a chair to add for another to join us, despite there being only another six people in the place and more than 25 empty seats. To be fiar the young male waiter was lovely, as was they guy behind the bar. It is a real shame that Siglo is let down by bad service because it is a great venue. But it also has extremely overpriced drinks. The cheapest (and only) chardonnay is $16.50 a glass, and with such arrogant serive, even the view doesn't make it worht it.
