There's been a wealth of movement up Manly-way of late, offering diners and bar-goers many options for a night of frivolity and fun. This wine bar and lounge offers views of the beach as well as some seriously decadent tapas nibbles, and an extensive wine list with drops predominately from Australia and New Zealand with a few Italian and French bottles thrown in for good measure; there's a Sancerre for those serious about their French Sauvignon blanc as well as a few big reds from Australian vignerons, Henschke. Those concerned about finding a perfect food-wine pairing need not worry, with dishes such as red wine poached chorizo fully up to the task.
There's a lot to be said for the sexy surroundings with red and black armchairs lit by low mood lighting, and a balcony offering spectacular views of the beach. With house grooves playing, this is a great place to unwind and, more importantly, to indulge.
