By night, this place transforms itself into a funky bar with an '80s theme. Robot is definitely where Astroboy would hang out, if he were old enough, that is.
The bar celebrates Tokyo-techno culture and gives a nod to the futuristic icons that ruled supreme during the '80s. Here, you can sip on an Asahi beer and challenge another human to a game on the Atari or Pac Man game to find that old skool feeling. Soak up the Manga cartoons, the strong sake and the eye-catching robot collection. There's even an '80s robotic dog that roams the bar floor from time to time.
Tuesday nights feature free screenings of animated Japanese movies. Sit back, take in the culture, and expand your drinking horizons with beers sourced all the way from Japan, China, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines. Robot also serves up sushi for special functions by request.
