This dynamic and intimate venue has a lot more to offer than just stellar live entertainment.
Let's talk drinks: the club has a lot of 'em. The beverage menu features more than 100 different cocktails, and a world-class wine list designed by distinguished wine writer Nick Stock. The Peach Brandy Julep is a refreshing option, with a luscious combination of peach, mint, peach brandy and cognac, while twists on classics - such as the Raspberry Collins - is sure to allure any die-hard cocktail buff.
The multi-tiered club enjoys a prime South Yarra/Chapel Street locale and, as such, is fast becoming something of a cultural hub. With a generous dose of bohemian charm relatively uncommon in the suburb nowadays, the venue welcomes an array of interesting live acts to the stage, from circus and burlesque performers to live bands and some of the city's finest DJs.
The vibrant, neon-lit, contemporary-meets-art-deco setting holds just the right amount of eccentric appeal to pull it off as backdrop to the often twisted live acts. Music-wise the bill is heavy in soul, funk, disco and jazz acts - and don't bother getting your knickers in a knot trying to nab the best seats because the performance space has been constructed with raised booth seating and mezzanine, like a traditional jazz club, so that guests can view performers from any spot in the club.
