With matt black walls, polished stainless steel and smoky grey carpets, QC oozes class and sophistication. Having opened in 2007, this flashy newish restaurant and bar has since been welcomed with open arms by Alice Springs visitors and locals keen to check out what all the hype is about.
You'll find QC in the centre of the Todd Street Mall - just look for the Cascade beer signs that border the front alfresco area. Inside, friendly staff will be happy to pour whatever you desire from the 50-something-strong wine list - all available by the glass - or perhaps an Absolut vodka-infused cocktail. There's also a selection of boutique beers; beer-lovers can choose between a premium Crown Larger, Coopers Pale or Sparkling Ale or a Cascade.
With large windows that front the mall, you can pull up a groovy red and black chair in the lounge bar, make yourself comfortable and take in the hot-footed bustle of Alice's CBD. QC has a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, and the bar is open until late to keep punters cool until the wee hours.
