Locals head to this Irish chain pub for their fix of live music, karaoke and trivia, accompanied by pints of Guinness and simple pub grub.
Timber and glass-panelled booths, brass fittings, old papered ceilings and framed Irish photographs give Paddy's the warm and fuzzy feeling of a good old-fashioned pub. But appearances alone don't create the atmosphere here. Instead, it's the cheery welcome, fine beers and live entertainment that come together to bring the craic into this corner joint.
Grab a spot at a dark wooden table and sink a pint of Guinness or Kilkenny. Aside from the Irish drinks, beer lovers will also find a range of Aussie brand names on tap, such as VB, Tooheys and Redback.
Hungry barflies can fill the appetite gap with a beef and Guinness pie, bangers and mash or classic fish and chips.
Monday nights are dedicated to trivia and offer up a jackpot prize of $500. Meanwhile, karaoke on Wednesday nights provides the opportunity for drinkers to exercise their vocal chords. Live bands dominate on Friday and Saturday nights, rocking up the chain pub's atmosphere.
Unsurprisingly, the biggest day of trading at Paddy's has to be on St Patrick's Day. It invariably becomes suitably crammed, boisterous and chaotic. Boozing and green-hued patriotism is clearly top of the agenda - and so it should be.
