On Labour day, my partner and I decided to drop into Oxford 152 for a quick beer (hot chocolate for me) after an afternoon breakfast at the coffee club (P.S. Don't go to the Coffee Club in Bulimba, for any occasion, the food and service is terrible!). We got served by the most sour looking so-and-so behind the bar. I ordered a hot chocolate, which took about 5-10 minutes to arrive, even though the venue was relatively quiet, and the bartender did not make any effort to advise us when it would arrive (if at all), she pretty much just took the money and kept serving other people. After a few minutes of standing around awkwardley wondering what we should do, my partner and I went and found a seat. After about 5 minutes, I got fed up and went to the bar to ask for my drink. I was greeted with a sour face and an 'I don't care, get lost' attitude. After a while I eventually got my drink, which was a bit too hot, tasted quite average (and I love chocolate no matter how it is!), and the froth had been separated from the milk! Now I don't know about other people, but that's a mortal sin when it comes to making coffees and hot chocolates! Shocking, absolutely shocking!
