Mrs Parmas

Victoria's finest boutique beers matched up with Godzilla-sized original and gourmet parmas. Say no more.

Mrs Parma's is a bar dedicated to spreading the word (and pouring the product) about Victoria's thriving microbrew industry. Established in early 2007, the crew behind the bar's solidly built patron saint, Mrs Parma, have a vision to bring Victoria's best beer to its people all under one roof. Six taps pour the finest lagers, ales, wheat beers and stouts from all over the state.

Despite its array of new world beers, Mrs Parma's has an old-world feel, with a lovely long bar on which to lean and yarn with the bar folk about beer. The beers change seasonally or whenever something interesting comes along. You'll regularly find fine beers from Mountain Goat, Grand Ridge, Holgate, Hargraves Hill and Beechworth brewery (amongst many others) on the taps here. Fifteen different bottled beers are also available, and there's a bottle shop in case you like something so much you want to take a six-pack home to treat your mates.

True to its name, this excellent bar marries up beer with its perfect partner, the parma. The serves are whopping, and there are some gourmet twists alongside a bloody good original parma.

Par Score
Reasonable destination to grab a Parma. I'm a huge parma fan and jumped at the chance to try this. I ordered the Nacho Parma which was quite good but for a place specializing in Parmagiana's not quite what i hoped for. The staff were pretty average too, had to walk up to bar for drinks as they were understaffed.

Great Place
Good spot for a drink and a meal. Many beers on tap to try. We also had a late lunch and the food was great. We are going back to try the parma's. Recommended for drinks/meal.
