All and sundry are welcome at this cosy nightspot, dedicated to live music and keeping boredom at bay.
Mojos is one of those venues that has stuck around for a reason. Where did someone find out about that new obscure indie/pop/thrash/blues/punk band? Mojos. Where did you actually not get bored listening to a local recounting a story? Mojos. From obscure to obvious, local to foreign, this North Fremantle nightspot keeps on keeping on.
Small and intimate with mismatched couches and a pool table, Mojos is inviting yet casual. The stage backdrop is of the red velour pin-cushion kind, fitting in with the graffiti-esque wall mural. These guys like to mix it up, and if need be, you can try your luck via the skill-tester on your way to the outdoor smoking section.
Apart from the chalkboard event listing outside, the friendly bar staff are in the know, providing a wealth of information relating to upcoming shows. The cover charge varies, however $10 should be enough to get you in most nights, with the cheap drinks ensuringyou won't be left out of pocket..
In it for the long haul, Mojos will continue to do what it does, proving the point that you don't need to sell out to keep the punters interested.
