When an international airline opens a bar in Melbourne, it's a good reason to sit up and take notice. But when you hear that the airline is none other than the luxurious Emirates, it's a reason to get down there and have a look for yourself.
Left Bank, which occupies prime position on the river at Southbank, is the latest in a chain of bars from the airline that include outlets in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman. And, like Emirates itself, the key here is sophistication.
