Pool tables have become a standard bar feature, but this spot strives for originality by also offering punters the use of a foosball table. Cocktails are the tipple of choice here.
I was going weekly after work to play scrabble and down a few. I had some nice cocktails - one really nice one i think was called the 'Paul Special'. Then one afternoon - i guess it was still light - and i had too many in the space of 30 minutes and i broke a full pot and i haven't gone back since due to shame. But i wanna go back this weekend. We'll see. Free foosball, Scrabble and chinese checkers, but the Monopoly properties are stuck together (some poor beer-spilling fool like myself probably did it). Nice art. The food on the menu is food that they have delivered from other restaurants and takeaway joints and i had a fantastic pizza once. It's quiet, usually has a few locals, low capacity, art gallery upstairs, beautiful decor, opens at 5pm. This is a place to sit, chat and not get hammered. Be warned - the toilet is gorgeous and very very, very clean, but it is real porcelain and it is COLD!!!!
