The word on the grapevine is that wine is the new beer in WA, and Grapeskin is Perth's most hip and sophisticated spot to get a skinfull of the white, red and sparkling stuff. Sitting comfortably beside its iconic big sister, The Brass Monkey, the Manhattanesque Grapeskin has earned itself an equally admirable reputation. Since its doors first opened onto William Street in 2000, it has won the hearts of wine-savvy suits and culture vultures of all kinds. Grapeskin has also won the Australian Hotels Association's gong for 'Best Wine List' in 2003 and 2004. Showcasing the finest works of premium Australian and French wine-producers, the extensive and ever-changing list features over 280 labels (35 of which are available by the glass).
