Smack bang in the middle of Australia, you'll find this traditional English pub which caters to those looking to grab a cold beer and escape the desert heat.
The atmosphere and bar service at this old english style pub was exceptional. The staff were friendly and didn't mind a chat. Alas though when our group of approx 20 were ready to eat things went down hill.....fast. 3 members ordered entrees which were served quite fast however, the rest of us didn't get our meals until 1 hour and 20 minutes after we had ordered. The food upon arrival was quite nice again however after waiting so long the majority of us we past being hungry. The pie was spectacular, the schnitzel was burnt on one side and pale on the other and the lamb shanks were half and half (one was moist and tender and the other was dry).
If I ever go back to Alice I may pop in to try this pub again however, in a smaller group to ensure a timely eating fashion.
