If you're on a buck's or hen's night and you think your friend might (or might not) have what it takes to do the lambada, then Copacabana is the venue for you. From the street you can hear the boisterous, fast-paced rhythm of the live Latin music, and once inside you'll find yourself on a huge polished wooden dancing floor filled with writhing bodies shaking it out to the cha cha cha.
Throughout the week, the bar offers beginner, intermediate and advanced Latin dancing classes; on other nights live Latin bands take to the floor. Patrons can sample Copacabana's hot and cold buffet - including meat that is barbecued Brazilian-style and served on traditional skewers; and South American cocktails such as caipirinhas, pisco sours, margaritas and more. You can drink bottled and tap beers or take a look at the wine list, which offers a selection that ranges from South American and European drops through to local and house wines. You shouldn't have to wait long for drinks between dance-offs - the venue has three fully licensed bars open until 3am.
