Bar Information
Charlie Bar
A bar that aims to please locals and party-goers alike, this sexy addition to the Northern Peninsula represents another feather in the area's burgeoning nightlife.
With an interior that in some ways resembles an art-deco wooden-hulled yacht, Charlie Bar ups the nautical theme, commonplace among many of Manly's entertainment venues, with a polished timber and marble bar with curves that would make even Scarlett Johansson jealous. Combining wide doors that open out towards North Steyne with the verdant green of the swaying Norfolk Pines in the distance, this bar offers beachgoers a place to sit and admire the view while having a cheeky libation and equally cheeky chat with friends. Those wanting some bubbles can opt for a glass of Bollinger, while revellers in need of a thirst-quenching beer can sate their thirst with a selection of local and imported beers such as Coopers and Asahi. There's a range of cocktails available as well, and some classic pub-style meals with an updated edge, designed to fill a cavernous void: the result of a lazy day spent with sand between the toes. The music is predominately chilled lounge sounds, but this doesn't stop the party starting come Saturday nights when the bar hosts numerous acts of notoriety. With an idyllic beachside setting and food and beverages that make it one of the more dominant venues on the Northern Peninsula, Charlie is sure to be a friend to everyone.
