The Bligh Bar is a fully renovated and very stylish bar and bistro located the heart of the CBD. Its glass facade opens onto the street, an open invitation to the city's working elite. This is one for colleagues and associates who want to rub shoulders over laidback beers and a bite to eat.
The Bligh's open exterior extends to a sophisticated interior, with open-plan black and white decor, marble features and warm orange-yellow lighting. It's modern and fresh, right down to the designer bathrooms.
The Bligh has a simple cafe menu for breakfast and it's a great place to stop for a much-needed coffee before work. However, the bistro area is a particular favourite for its array of healthy lunches, be it the fish of the day, salads or burgers. In the evening, the flavour of The Bligh's bistro changes again, with an extensive list of affordable gourmet pizzas.
During the day, the crowd is heavy with nine-to-fivers. By night, a mixed crowd comes in to let go of their inner-city stress. On Fridays you can dance the night away, with a live DJ in residence playing funky house tunes.
