Despite being housed at the base of one of Port Melbourne's more prominent apartment blocks (the towering Project HM@S), Bellezian has gained a reputation as an inviting and relaxed venue, not only for dining, but also for a drink or two at the bar.
Wines by the glass are plentiful and taken from the Australian contingent of an extensive wine list that sticks doggedly to the more affordable end of the spectrum. The bar's waterside location is reflected in the cocktail list - an offering of fresh and flirty concoctions. Sip on a summery French Connection, a blend of Chambord, vodka and pineapple juice, or indulge your sweet tooth with a Heart Breaker, which pairs Cointreau with Tia Maria and adds strawberries and cream.
My partner and I went to bellezain for valentine day for dinner, we had a set menu which was very affordable and consisted of tapas platter and a main course to choose from. We were very impressed with the meal and service. we had a wonderful night looking out to the bay on the terrace area.
