If beer, sports, steak and a smile are the basis of your religion, we've found your place of worship.
All Bar Nun is true to its name and just about as democratic as a pub can get. Drinkers range from penny-strapped uni students to the besuited and upwardly mobile, and everyone in between is welcome.
This bar is as friendly as your favourite aunt and has been providing the nation's capital with a welcoming watering hole since 1996. If there's a rugby game on you can be sure they'll have it up on the big screen, while the staff's friendly disposition gives the place a definite
Cheers vibe.
If you want to escape the melee and have a quiet drink, the recently spritzed-up lounge bar is there for you; it's made for discreet rendezvous and conversation. The wine list plays favourites with South Australia, but with the large selection including well-priced plonk from crowd favourites such as Peter Lehmann and Brokenwood, we doubt you'll mind.
On Mondays and Tuesdays the bar plays host to the enticing 'pizza and pint' night, but if you want to explore the menu further, the bistro extends to tapas, burgers and whatever's on the grill that night. Sundays are hectic with free live music from mid-afternoon - a community service to help everyone pretend they don't have to go to work the next day.
